What is Covid-19 variant Omicron XE? India discovered its first case in Mumbai. Do we have to worry?

COVID19 recently launched its new update, the XE Recombinant Variant, the latest in the series of Omicron sub-variants. The transmission capabilities of the XE version are much better than the previous one. In terms of market volume, XE has had a sluggish business but is expected to pick up in 🤧. The XE variant combines the genetic best of Omicron BA.1 and BA.2.

Experts claim ki ism naya kuch nahi. These variants, subvariants and recombinant subvariants keep popping up as the pandemic continues. However, the experts (and the administration) need to be on their toes, even if the cases are considerably low. XE docked this time in Mumbai (hamesha ki tarah).

While the government. officials had denied the same

The 50-year-old woman who (unfortunately) contracted XE has a travel history to South Africa. However, the patient is asymptotic and out of danger. Of the 376 samples, the woman was the only one to test positive for the XE variant. Another tested positive for the Kappa variant.

Cases are increasing in the UK, but not significantly. Response Studies show data that cases in the UK may have peaked in children and young adults but are reaching a plateau among adults. Similar rigorous Pap smears should also be performed in India. There have been new cases discovers also in Thailand and New Zealand.

What are the symptoms of the XE infection?

The primary symptoms are a mild infection with fever, fatigue and similar symptoms such as Omicron BA.1 strain. The following symptoms are common to all variants.

  • Elevated temperature
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • General fatigue
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Loss of appetite
  • Recurrent Diarrhea
  • Possible loss of smell and/and taste

Do we have to worry?

Although the XE recombinant variant is 10% more transmissible than the Omicron parent variant, there is no need to panic. But every time someone says don’t panic, I do 🙁

However, don’t leave anything to chance. Getting pricked. Mask on when you’re gone

Meanwhile, the twitterverse rolled out hilarious memes.
