It’s vital that no amount of supervision can replace this and that parents shouldn’t leave their children unattended around water even if they are excellent swimmers.

Our adult classes run weekly to coincide with school term times, with class sizes of four or six per class for learn to swim classes and two per class for stroke improvement lessons. Learn to swim classes are tailored towards adults who have never or limited water confidence and build water safety skills like floating, kicking, overarm recovery and streamlining. Once comfortable in the water you can move into our Stroke Improvement lessons that focus on maximising freestyle and breaststroke techniques.

Baby Classes

Studies indicate that those taking swim lessons develop more muscle development in both arms and legs, as well as greater brain growth and spatial awareness.

Our baby classes are conducted in small groups to ensure each child receives individual attention from both parent/caregiver co-teachers in the pool, and are specifically designed to progressively build your child’s water confidence. Lessons focus on essential aquatic skills like safer entries and exits as well as floating techniques – providing your little one with a great first experience with swimming! These sessions make an excellent introduction to aquatic activity.

Swimming classes Cranbourne utilize proven early learning techniques like colour, song and play to make every class engaging and fun for your baby. Caregivers also have the chance to spend quality time with their infant, strengthening bonds between themselves. Young infants tend to feel more at ease in water than they have been since birth; making now an excellent time for taking them swimming!

Once your child has graduated from Superbabes classes, they may move on to our Baby Splash sessions which introduce water independence without parental in-water supervision. Our Baby Splash instructors set strict criteria that must be fulfilled for progression to each new level; your instructor will determine this decision.
