Adventurers from all parts of India and outside India take these treks to discover Unexplored, quaint places, away from the everyday hubbub of their usual monotonous lives. A journey to these treks is not just about exploring these new places but it also ends up becoming a journey of self-discovery as we will confront and conquer our fears. The best treks in the Himalayas to trek in snow include the following treks.

1. Ali Bedni Bugyal

This is a trek that’s hard to match up to. Because give it any season, and it will have something to amaze trekkers. It’s the terrific colors of the meadows in summer. It is the endearing forests laid with snow and the clearings in them in winter. Not to forget, the breathtaking views of Mt Trishul and Mt Nanda Ghunti, are two of the most celebrated mountains among trekkers. This is the perfect snow trek for forest lovers.

This is an extremely unique trek that hardly a few people venture out on. So if we are looking for a beautifully isolated experience, then we close our eyes and choose this.

2. Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek

This is a trek that anyone loves simply because it’s such a relaxing climb and yet gives us such grand returns. We never expect such views and experiences on such an easy trek! It’s even prettier in winter (if that’s possible) with the meadows covered in shimmering white snow.

Given the ease of the climb, this trek is especially good for beginners and families in winter. But don’t let that stop us if we are experienced trekkers — we can go on this trek ten times and we won’t tire.

3. Sandakphu – Phalut

Choose this trek if one is looking for a strong cultural experience. One gets a peek into what the Nepali trekking culture is like. This is a trek on the border of India and Nepal, that is constantly weaving in and out of the two countries.

It also gives us views of four of the tallest mountains in the world — Mt Everest, Mt Makalu, Mt Lhotse, and Mt Kanchenjunga. No other trek gives us that. Not many trekkers are aware of this, but on this trek, trekkers could stay in tea houses for a few days. This is a great way to experience the best of both worlds.

4. Deoriatal – Chandrashila Winter Trek

This is one of India’s most widely known winter treks. But its popularity died down when the forest department closed some crucial campsites over there. But now there is a new alternative campsite came up.  you may need to know about delhi to lucknow distance

The trail, of course, remains as beautiful with its vibrant forests, the lake, and its climb to the Tungnath temple and Chandrashila summit. This trek gives a highly unfair reward for the amount of effort we put in. We could get to see almost all the most spectacular peaks in Indian Himalayas including Mt Nanda Devi, India’s highest summit. And we could get to experience snow in winter. If the dates are suitable, don’t think twice, just go for them.

5. Kedarkantha Winter Trek

This trek has a thrilling summit club, lovely campsites, and one of the best winter experiences in the Himalayas. Most trekkers treat this as a bucket list trek, and they’re completely justified because it’s not every day they come across such a perfect winter trek.

Usually, this trek begins from Sankri, but it can be begun from the Kotgaon route as well. This new route is isolated and it bypasses the crowd.

Conclusion

Apart from trekking in the snow, these treks also offer exciting adventure activities such as hiking, camping, and rock climbing alongside the trek, thus enhancing the overall experience of this expedition. These winter treks are thus a delight for snow enthusiasts as the white blanket of snow everywhere around them will leave them riveted during their expedition. Singing and recreating all those songs we had heard about snow and shot around would give us memories forever.
