Long-range missions to the moon can really be a thing. Researchers and scientists have spent a long time trying to determine whether the insane surface contains water pockets at all. But the process was not only strenuous, but also time-consuming. The reason for this is that the surface of the moon does have water, but due to surface conditions, it is usually hard to find.

But there’s a catch, and also in the form of an identification where researchers have guaranteed that water molecules can indeed exist on the moon’s surface. Read below all about the same and the mission that is about to find water on the moon soon

NASA has confirmed that their mission, which is preparing to launch two satellites, will mark its attempt to clarify its understanding of whether moon bags can hold water. The mission that will hit space by 2025. NASA has named the probe “Lunar Trailblazer.” NASA has claimed that this particular mission will help researchers understand the shape of the insane surface and the way the water was dispersed there. NASA states that this will be the agency’s first attempt at understanding what criteria are essential to fuel the said process.
NASA’s Lunar Trailblazer Mission
The main purpose of NASA’s Lunar Trailblazer probe is to orbit the lunar surface and collect data and information from above the moon. There are two science instruments on board the Trailblazer and their launch will be performed together.
The first part is a thermal mapper on the moon. The thermal mapper will track the climate of areas of the moon that do not have sunlight. The said step will help scientists determine whether the moon’s lunar surface is as cold as the water can tolerate as ice.

On the other hand, NASA that the other satellite will examine the reflected light bouncing off the moon. NASA stated that this will help them get an idea of whether they can use the same process in the future mission and avoid returning samples from the moon and help their astronauts survive on the moon for a longer period of time for research
