Shane Warne dies of a heart attack; Here are some of the risk factors to watch out for:

The world mourns! Without a doubt the greatest of all time. † .is no more! Shane Keith Warne, The legendary Australian Spin machine is no more! Warne reportedly succumbed to a suspected heart attack in Thailand’s Koh Samui, according to a statement from Warne’s management. He was found unconscious in his villa even as paramedics tried to resuscitate him. Warnie was 52.

Shane Warne made his test debut with the SCG in 1992 and was the spin arsenal in the Australian team until his retirement in 2007. He was part of Australia’s 1999 World Cup winning team and also saw 5 Ashes! Considered the best leg spinner of all time, with a bowling average of 17.32, Warnie once held the world record of 708 test scalpels.

Warne was recognized for his charities and the (now defunct) Shane Warne Foundation.

This was Shane’s last tweet mourning the loss of another legendary cricketer, teammate and beloved friend Rod Marsh just the day before!

Risk Factors of Cardiac Arrest

Age – Although the younger population also suffers from heart failure, the majority of cases are men over 45 and women over 55.

Tobacco and Tobacco Products – Yes, that includes Pan Masala and Secondhand Smoking!

High bloodpressure Blood pressure is such a common ailment among us Indians anyway. Must be careful!

high cholesterol – That rice bran wala oil is right. High levels of LDL (low density cholesterol) is something to stay away from. Hower HDL (high-density cholesterol) is good for health.

obesity – Obesity is linked to high cholesterol.

diabetes – A weaker pancreas can also cause a heart attack!

Drugs – Illegal drugs and stimulants can weaken the heart and cause seizures and possibly a heart attack!

Sleeping Lifestyle – Sedentary lifestyle is responsible for most cases of cardiac arrest.

autoimmune disease – In some autoimmune diseases, muscles become weak and fatigued, which can lead to cardiac arrest.
