Elon Musk-led SpaceX launches 48 Starlink satellites; To launch 30,000 more

SpaceX has finally done it. The Elon Musk-led space agency working with low operating costs and methods that put less strain on Earth’s orbit has launched 48 Starlink satellites today. Also on March 3, Space X had launched a number of satellites. Read below how the evolving space agency is boosting our internet connectivity to new extremes.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk led SpaceX in 2021 and launched 646 Starlink satellites, a 48.9 percent increase in the March 2021 satellite population from 1,322, according to a report by the Free Press Journal. In the past 18 months, the space company has expanded its broadband satellites by 185 per center. With today’s launch of 48 satellites, SpaceX will hopefully strengthen the satellite connection in space. Watch the launch below.

Starlink and its objectives

At the heart of the SpaceX Starlink Internet project is a low-latency broadband system tailored to meet global consumer needs.
A collection of satellites in low Earth orbit will support Starlink in providing fast and reliable data in poor-to-zero connectivity. Starlink is currently approved to expand its constellation to 12,000 satellites, although SpaceX has applied to launch another 30,000.
