During your game of Final Fantasy 5 Pixel Remaster, you should focus on the following Job skills.

One of the few main games in the series that has a customizable Job system is Final Fantasy 5. It’s crazy to think about this, since the Job/Class system in the Final Fantasy games is one of the best in RPGs. At the start of the game, players will have the Freelancer Job.

When a player finds a Crystal, new Jobs like Red Mages and Knights become available. As these Jobs gain levels, they will gain powers. Even if a player changes Jobs, they can still equip these skills to a secondary slot. This lets them mix and match their powers. There are a lot of skills to learn, so for the first third of Final Fantasy 5, players should keep these in mind.

White/Black Magic

As soon as possible, the party should add a White Mage and a Black Mage. These Jobs are some of the most popular ones in the Final Fantasy series. One is there to heal friends, and the other is there to do as much magic damage as possible to enemies.

Both of these Jobs have to learn six levels of spells before they can unlock their wildest final skill. You can buy spells in shops, which open up as the game goes on. So, even if a player gets their Black Magic skill to level 6, they can’t use Firaga until it can be bought.

Dualcast

Dualcast is the last ability that Red Mages can get at level 4, and it is without a doubt one of the best in the game. It lets players cast two spells on the same turn, and it can be used with any kind of magic in the game. Red Mages have levelled skills just like White Mages and Black Mages.

Players can use their skills after completing three levels that are the same as the levels of the other Jobs. So, Red Mages can learn and use White and Black Magic up to level three, like Cure and Blizzard.

MP +30%

MP +30% ability in Final Fantasy At level seven, Black Mages learn their last skill, which is 5 MP +30%. The skill is passive, and it will make the character have more MP. White Mages can also raise their MP, but they can only do so by 10%.

So, it makes sense to stop levelling up White Mages after level six, unless players are trying to be completists. That can be half the fun of playing the old Final Fantasy games again, so take this advice at your own pace.

Two-Handed

Two-Handed is a great Knight Job ability that you get at level three. Like the different Mages, Knights are an important Job for early parties in Final Fantasy 5. They are both good at attacking and good at defending. This is also why Cover, the level 1 skill, is a good one.

When a friend is about to die from losing HP, Cover will go into effect. Knights will step in and take most of the damage for them. Overall, though, Two-Handed is the better ability for Knights because it gives players a much bigger damage boost when they use weapons like swords with two hands.

Barehanded

Another great way to boost attack power in the game is to use barehanded. Monks can learn this skill when they reach level 2. Because they can’t wear or carry a lot of armour or weapons, this class has to focus on simple ways to fight. They are very strong, which makes up for the fact that they don’t have many tools.

They can naturally hit twice as much as monks, and Barehanded will let other classes have punches that are just as strong. Even a weak Job like the White Mage can rock this ability, which is funny to see in turn-based battle.

HP +30%

In Final Fantasy 5, the HP +30% ability works the same as the Black Mage’s MP +30% ability, except that it makes characters healthier. It’s another skill that Monks can learn, but they can’t get it until they reach level seven. Before this, there were other ways to improve HP, like HP +10% and HP +20%.

In Final Fantasy 5, the higher the number, the more strength a player can gain. It’s as simple as that, but you shouldn’t ignore this skill because HP is important in any RPG.

Mug

Mug is a skill for the Thief Job that can be used at level 6. Thieves will be able to steal from enemies right away, thanks to the skill Steal. It’s a good skill in any Final Fantasy game, but fans of the series know that Mug is better. Aside from taking items from enemies, it will also fight them and hurt them.

It’s a great combination that makes Thieves better in battle. Even so, this Job is the best in Final Fantasy 1 because it can turn into a Ninja.

Dual-Wield

In Final Fantasy 5, Ninjas are a different class. Which was not the case in Penalty Kick Online game. They let players have two guns equipped at once without having their stats go down. It follows the traditional way that ninjas are portrayed in other media, where they often use two tools like knives.

It’s a good skill that comes with the Ninja Job, and players can get it at level 5 by using Dual-Wield. Throw is also a good ability for Ninjas because it lets players throw useless weapons at enemies, which can do a lot of damage sometimes. However, Dual-Wield is still the best.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster came out again for platforms on April 19, 2023. It can be played on both the PS4 and the Switch.
