Adjust The Number Of Tips You Receive
Before you start the game, you can change how many tips you see on screen by going to the Display settings. The usual setting is All, so you can get helpful tips and directions as you walk through the landscape.
You can change this to Reduced or Minimalist if you want to make the game a little harder and really test how well you and your second player can talk to each other. There is also a setting called “Photo Mode” that gets rid of these tips completely. This makes it easy to take pictures of the beautiful hand-drawn scenery.
Don’t Rush Ahead
Since you can handle two characters, your view will change based on where both of them are. If you move away from the other figure and keep going, the screen will zoom out so that you can still see both of them. But this makes it harder to get around the landscape, especially if the person left behind gets stuck.
If one character gets too far ahead of the other, it can be hard to follow, so try to keep the two characters as close together as possible. If a character gets stuck, try going back to where they are to get a better look at the area.
Follow The Trail
Blanc lets you explore the wintery landscape around you, but you have to follow a set path to move on to the next places. When everything is covered in snow, it can be hard to figure out where to go in some places.
You can look for one sign, though: the track. If you see a road in the snow that has been walked on. This is probably the way you should go. If you follow these paths, you’ll be fine.
There may be more than one road in the snow, each going in a different direction. Still, the areas aren’t too big, so you can try both without wasting too much time.
Use Each Other’s Strengths
One of Blanc’s main ideas is that we all need help from other people sometimes. And this comes through in the way the game is played. You can use the skills of both the wolf cub and the deer throughout Snake Game. For example, the wolf cub is smaller, so it can fit into small places. And the deer has longer legs, so it can jump higher.
If you get stuck in a certain area, look around and see if you can use these personal skills. This is also helpful in places where the deer and the wolf cub end up on different tracks and you have to change the landscape to make sure your animal friend can keep up with you.

You’ll need to solve different “puzzles” in Blanc in order to help the animals you meet along the way. Both the wolf cub and the deer will need to work together in these parts.
Even if you know what you’re meant to do, these can be tricky and hard to finish at times. In these situations, you can try switching places with the other character to see if that helps. If you are playing with a second person. You could switch roles and try the game from a totally different angle.
For some parts of the game, the wolf cub and the deer won’t be able to switch places. However, you and your partner can still switch roles.
